When AI agents call each other, nothing guarantees they keep their promises. CACP puts a contract between them: inputs, outputs, timeouts, retries, and a mandatory compensation step if something goes wrong.

A deterministic gateway sits in the middle and validates and enforces those contracts on every call, so a misbehaving agent can’t break them. The repository is a reference implementation with the gateway, a mock callee, example contracts and demo scenarios.
