CAMP is a way to publish something that’s hard to block. Instead of hiding data in a file, it uses an existing file or URL, left completely untouched, as cryptographic context. To read the content you need only where the media lives and a key-derived access map. What gets shared is a short base58 string.

  • AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption, with PBKDF2 key derivation
  • keys derived deterministically from the media and the access map
  • tamper detection with CRC-32 checksums and authentication tags
  • works with local files or URLs, from a command-line tool
